Policies


Deposits:
- Rabbits are not considered sold until I recieve FULL PAYMENT. I hold rabbits until 2 weeks after wean date or 2 weeks for a weaned rabbit with a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. If you have inquired about a rabbit but have not put a deposit on it, I may sell it to the first buyer to place a deposit or pay in full.

- Once rabbits are paid for I will keep for up to 2 weeks free of charge and after that charge board each day for care/cage space/and feed.

- You may also pay in full at the time of making a deposit as this is sometimes easier. 

- IF anything is to happen within the 1st 48 hours to your new rabbit I do not give cash refunds but will replace the rabbit with proof of death(the rabbits body) if it wasn't the owners fault(injury, freak accident, ect). I do not give cash refunds. After the first 48 hour time period I cannot rule out that something you have done has harmed the rabbit.


- I will not travel free of charge to replace a rabbit. It is not my responsibility how far you traveled as I couldn't have made the decision for you ahead of time :) I can meet, however but there is always a delivery fee unless I am in that area for something else.

When you buy a rabbit from me:
- You always get a pedigree unless otherwise stated. They prove my rabbits are all purebred and pedigreed. Pedigrees sometimes have to be mailed or emailed depending on my printer/pedigree program.

- Please understand I have paid good money for the parents of these rabbits and all are purebred and pedigreed. You are buying a quality rabbit if from "Zele's Hollow". All are healthy and fed a high quality diet. All rabbits are handled often with nails clipped and de-wormed every 6 months with Wazzine 1X per year and Ivermectin 1X. My rabbits also get a Cocci treatment every 6 months because they are in a herd and live in a barn. 
-These are MY pets, they all have names and are part of a project I genuinly love. I can garrentee every rabbit has been treated right by me and has no background of abuse.

-I DO NOT accept checks. I accept PAYPAL with a 4% fee added to cover paypal fees, MONEY ORDERS or CASH. 

- So far I have had NO health issues in my rabbitry due to cleanliness and often sanitizing with Vanodine, Simple Green and bleach.



Delivery:
- I may agree to meet part way on sales if its convenient for me. My husband is also a farrier and in several areas often(CT, MA, NY and NJ) and could offer transport to certain places, ask ahead of time.

- Rabbits need to be paid in full and add a fee for delivery before we meet anyone. Please ask about certain locations. We may be willing to deliver further but will need to charge for our time and fuel.

- I will deliver FREE of charge to any show I may be attending. Please email me to check for that information.


-The only time I will give a cash refund is if you have the rabbit evaluated by a vet and have the results sent to me. Other than that my policy states you will be able to exchange for another rabbit in its place within the first 24-48 hours so make sure you check your rabbit over as soon as you get him/her.

Health:
- I offer a 24 hour period where I will give a complete refund of a rabbit. Within those 24 hours your job as a buyer is to check the rabbit over completly and if there are any problems return the rabbit right away. You, as the buyer, also have the right within the 24 hour period to have a vet check done on the rabbit to determine health. After the 24 hour "grace" period no refund will be given. I may, however under special circumstances offer a replacement for a rabbit of equal or higher value.

After sales:
- I will take any unwanted bunny or rabbit sold from my rabbitry if you can no longer keep him/her.
